Default Transaxle Nightmare

First off, let me apologize for the words I am about to use. If you are sensitive and don't like foul language, please don't read on. I am very upset and absolutely furious right now, so please forgive me.

Alright. So I got my new FEQ transaxle in the other day from partsgeek, and rain had prevented me from working on my car until yesterday. So I get to working, following the DIY on Audizine's website. Well, I had a friend working on it with me and he told me that he could get it done in 45 minutes, so I was like ok, and went back inside to read more instructions while he started taking the rotor off. I'm inside for like 5 minutes when I hear an impact wrench, so I run outside to see what the hell he is using the impact wrench on, and I see he is using 4 extensions, 2 of which not being for a ******* impact wrench at all and I tell him to stop and he says he almost has it. Next thing I know, one extension ******* shatters, 2 of the 6 12pt bolts connecting the transaxle to the axle are completely fucked (found out later that he had stripped one of them before I had gotten out there so he decided to try it on another one) and my 12pt bit is fucked as well.

I have no idea how the hell I am going to get those bolts out, but apparently now, I have to get a new bit, which only comes in a 3 pack, a new extension, and new bolts, and still have to take time off work to get the whole thing done.

If anyone can think of anything, please let me know. Again, sorry for the language.

Could you take it to a shop to have just those two bolts removed? Even though you have pay for it, it would save a huge headache.

you need a set of tools called easy off. they go over the bolt and it'll bite into the bolt and thus the bolt comes out. you don't need an impact on those bolts. you're friend must be used to hondas

My first car was a 89 CRX. Most of it could be disassembled with a phillips screwdriver and a 10mm wrench.

always always always use a freaking hand tool on a bolt before trying to get it off with a impact gun thats the #1 rule same with putting the bolt back in the impack gun is not as strong as you trust me use a breaker bar if you have a hard time getting the bolt loose
