I would also take the gt35r over the td04. What I'm gonna be running in about a month is a gt2871r which is good to about 450hp. This is what my shop recommended to me and do the usual FMIC MAF, Injectors, etc. but also remember to do internals. From what I heard the stock a4 1.8t pistons are good to about 700 hp but the rods won't hold anywhere near half that so remeber internals, mainly rods. Also swap out your clutch to at least a stage 3 or higher, I ordered my south bend stage 3 clutch and steel single mass flywheel yesterday from them for $950 shipped. If you want more info about what I'm doing just PM, and I can tell you how much they've quoted me for service if you need. They pretty much lined everything up that I need to do without ripping me off and they made sure they didn't cause audi specialists shops are the shizzle.
