Smile Tune up time!

My Baby B5 is such a spoiled brat! its my fault,i love to spoil her anywho..its time for her to get spoiled once again,i need to know what intails a "Tune up"? could a kind soul give me a run down list of the things i need to buy and get done to her? I want to improve her gas milage and overall power proformance.

I got her oil changed about 2 1/2 weeks ago at a car wash, the fella under the car that was doing the oil change, told me that i may have a oil leak in the main seal,he said it wasn't anything dripping or pouring, just that it was wet with oil,i brought this to my mechanic that works on audi's and he said, don't pay him any mind, its normal to see a little oil on a car with your milage,(which is 150,000 as of a week ago.

So he pretty much shrugged it off and said if it was dripping and you can see it on the ground, then i'd have you bring it in for service.

Should i relax and honor my mechanics advice?

Thanks in advance fellas ^_^

Nice wheels! well maybe take her to another shop to make sure the oil problem isn't really a problem. But as far as the tune up goes, how much spoiling would you like to do?

I'd take the word of an actual mechanic over an oil change monkey at a car wash any day. Just sayin'.

Maybe you should do plugs, MAF sensor, cabin air filter, fuel filter. I'm just going off the 40k kits on ECS Tuning, which all come with oil and oil filter as well, but you've already had that done.

tune up is simple stuff... spark plugs, air filter, perhaps fuel filter. Cleaning of the throttle body and perhaps MAF. Sometimes oxygen sensors if they're old (they don't have to throw codes to be working like crap). Et cetera. Timing belt is not part of it, but do it if it's time.

Someone already posted that link for me,thanks anyway ^_^

I was thinking of getting the upstream and downstream oxygen sensors and a mass air flow sensor,is these really needed to be replaced? i mean, they are working, can i skip these and just buy the Fuel filter, spark plugs, air cabin & air filter? whats more important and practical?
