ok you have made atleast 3 identicle threads on the same topic. if you really have no idea how to do this then you really shouldnt be doing it. its fairly strait forward if you have some mechanical experience.
why are you replacing the turbo in the first place? is the other one failing? you say the car runs perfect so i dont understand. are you replacing the turbo or upgrading it? what are you installing exactly?

ok my old one is seized up. and i've been told by people that i should post this in diffrent places so that i should get a better reply, i do know HOW to do it but it never hurts to see if i missed anything though. and im just putting another KO3 turbo in with a 12 LB waste gate.
Yea, I just did mine today, Make sure you get new oil lines. You'll also need new gaskets because the old ones were toast. The bolts are going to be a real B*tch to get out and you may end up snapping a few so you may want to be prep for that. Give your self plenty of time because you don't want to overlook or rush anything. Check all the lines make sure nothings hardened. If it seized it could be for a good reason so you may want to look into that. The line that goes into the bottom is a pain in the *** aswell, Good luck. Just dig in and if you run into problems you know where to post.

Also, with that many miles on the car, you may want to do a compression test to see how the rings are sealing.
Lastly, the wastegate is only 5lbs
i wish that i would have talked to you earlier because i just spent alot more then that on a new one.
and does anyone know if going from the bottom of the car to access my turbo easier then just removing my air box??

if you are too lazy to remove your airbox which is all of half a dozen screws, you should not be replacing your turbo yourself. to answer your question- no its not easier, infact its impossible to remove the turbo from the under the car.
impossible...?
haha. w/ the lock carrier in service position i'll guarantee you it will fall out the bottom
not practical... yes. you will have to access it from the bottom as well as the top. but it will end up coming out the top.
why do you keep attacking him?
he wants to replace his turbo... let him replace his turbo
