turbo replacement question

my friend recently sold his 2005 A4 and just happens to have a spare turbo from it. would his turbo be compatible with my 99 A4, im told i blew my turbo[:@]

The turbo from his is a K03s. Yours is a K03. It should work but I don't know for sure.
