Does anyone know if it easy to install a turbo timer on a 98 A4 1.8t quattro? Can it been done yourself or will i need to be taken to someone? and how much would it cost?
Also is there a better brand turbo timer then any other to get?
Any input would be great

It can be done yourself, but some people have trouble getting the locks to work correctly while the car is in cool down mode (running with the key out). I was going to install one but haven't gotten around to it.

I think i will get someone to install it... i dont want stuff around with the locking system etc.
So if i get it done right will i still be able to lock the car while the car is in cool down mode?
its seems kinda pointless getting a turbo timer if your gonna stand around until it turns off, to lock you car hehe
