turbo upgrade help

Default turbo upgrade help

hello everyone im new to this site, ill try my best to respond not use to this site yet. ok i have an 99 A4 QUATTRO WITH AN AEB ENGINE 5 SPEED.

i wanna upgrade the turbo ive seen some turbo kits on ebay between 500 and 700 they come with some other parts too, are they any good do they fit on the a4's do i have to upgrade my injectors as well? do i have to chip my car?i also wanna get a stage1 or2 clutch is the enough? if you guys know any good combinations for turbo kits and injectors please list them for me, cause i know i dont want to much air or to much fuel i want it right.

avoid ebay. talk to mike hood. he recently made a post title clutch time. he'll tell you and sell you everything you need

sounds like he wants big power for not alot of $'s seeing as he is searching ebay for a turbo... and possibly wants to buy a new engine if his ebay turbo goes kaboom



i would have to agree with hiwords on talking to mike about his products and buying from him... but like faster asked we need more info if WE are going to help you

possibly spend 1300 to 1500 maybe 250hp or more if possible, could you name what are the mane things i would need?

Ebay turbo kits are crap, they wont last very long since they are not of good quality. This is why their prices are so low. If you want a good kit that is going to last, the Elim kits are going to be the lowest price for that hp. For 250whp you can go GTRS with the stock manifold. But you will need a tune and larger injectors for it which you can get in a full package, but you will be spending more then 1500. If thats all you have to spend the only option would be a K04-15, but thats not going to get you 250whp. Max is 250chp or about 195-200whp.

Frankenturbo? It's a modified K04 that comes with a higher flow manifold, turbo inlet pipe, and DV or MAF for 1000 bucks. Supposedly some cars have put out 240 wheel horsepower with it. Something I've been looking into.

apr chip and injectors will get you there for around $900. if you want 250whp, yeah, a turbo swap you will need
