Talking Turbo upgrade on my 2000 Quattro

Hey guys so i just bought an A4 Quattro and im loving it just I'm hoping to boost it up to about 400-500 hp, I know this will require a turbo upgrade, and intercooler upgrade and most likely a tune and a boost controller. Now i had a few questions that I'd loved answered from more knowledgeable members.

1 - Can most of the stock internals handle that much hp
2 - The best turbo and cooler set up in terms of efficiency and performance
3 - A good brake / suspension upgrade to go with the added hp if need be.
4 - List of all the stuff that needs and upgrade

Also first post on Audi forums

What justifiable reason do you need 400-500hp for? That much power will not make a fun daily driver at all. You will lose drivability and mpg while having a narrow power band. Have you done any other high hp builds? Any experience with turbos?

The benefits of a turbo is that it allows the motor to operate like a fuel efficient 1.8 liter while cruising and at part throttle but when you step in the gas and need more power its like driving a 3.6 liter if you are ruuning say 15psi (which is just slightly more then atmospheric psi). There is very little trade offs ina properly executed turbo build as you will get hp and if tuned properly better mpg.

There is a lot more science to it but it is beyond the scope of this topic.

My point to anyone is if you are going to build a car no matter turbo, sc, NA or whatever build it for what you plan on using it for. I have seen it time and time again that people go out and build something off the wall and realise that they completely forgot that the car was going to be drove as a daily and they are getting blown away at redlights by the same make with a stock turbo and some simple bolt ons. 90% of the population has never been ina car that makes 250awhp much less one that makes 400awhp.
