Default Turbo XS HPBC ?

I purchased a Turbo XS HPBC for my car to resolve the boost surging I was getting with my APR stage III setup. I set the mbc as per instruction and increased the coarse one full turn. I’m boosting 11PSI steady. How should I go about adjusting to 18-20 PSI and avoiding spikes? The first time around I was spiking right into limp mode. Any insight or experiences with this mbc is much appreciated. Also, where should I be boosting at with stock internals and stage III?
Thanks

just play with it until you get it at the right boost setting. give it another turn and see what psi your at, then repeat

you should be boosting to whatever PSI gets you 300-350 foot pounds of torque. thats when you snap rods. how many PSI does it take to get there? a dyno is the only thing that can answer that.

as for the hpbc. i bought one, installed it, and with both coarse and fine adjustments at zero i boosted to 16psi, and then i turned both coarse and fine adjustments to the max it would go, and i boosted 16psi. i think i got a dud.

on the stock software you should be able to boost 14psi max. since your chipped you should be able to go over 14psi with no problem. im at 12psi right now on stock software. once i get my chip, ill have it tuned while im there so they can get me at around 18. but for me to go from 8 to 12 i just found a nice road that i can open it up on. went 1 turn each run until i was able to get a nice ammount of power with no spiking.

The b&s part will allow the turbo to spool faster and the bleed will minimize spiking. I personally have mine set up with 3-4 psi increase with the bleed and the rest b&s. If you still have some surging, lower the b&s and increase the bleed. Also you should have it installed in place of the n75

You obviosly did something wrong, most likely didnt set the b&s correctly. If you install it correctly the mbc would only boost the spring pressure of the wastegate + maybe 1-2psi all the way open and then ~30+ psi over wastegate spring pressure (most are 5psi) with it all the way closed

possibly but its kinda hard to screw up, it included directions, and theres an arrow that points in the direction of flow, you just take the 2 lines off the n75 and put them on the mbc. i really doubt i screwed that up, and i spent an hour or two screwing with settings and still nothing. and i had it replacing the n75, not parallel to it. so i really dont know.
