Default turn signals wont work-ep35

I just bought a 1999 audi a4 avant 1.8tqm and the turn signals and hazards do not work. i went to the local auto parts store and they said it is the ep35 fuse/plug. However i cannot find it anywhere inside the car

does anybody know where it is? a picture would be awesome

thanks

They're likely wrong. Search "hazard relay" using the forum search feature and you will be buried in info regarding this.

Yep, I'd bet that it is the relay, too. Happened on my B5 a long time ago.

okay thanks that helped a lot. i didnt think to seach for hazard relay or anything like that i just searched for the turn signals.

ive got two more questions tho. when i depress the clutch it takes a second before the rpms drop so i have to keep the clutch depressed longer for smooth shifts. any ideas?

also, when going above about 25 mph and turning left or once i go above 40 mph its a constant noise. it sounds kind of like an engine when revved higher into the rpms but different gears/rpms do not change the noise, only speed. my guess is a wheel beaing, would i be right in that or am i completely off?

thank you for the help once again

and i did search but couldnt find anything that seemed very definitive
