dang man, what happened to the tranny? I'd keep an eye on classifieds here, AZ, Vortex, etc. Maybe try shokan too.

well one night it was raining pretty hard all day and i went out to get taco bell because I'm fat of course and i saw a buddy of mine and i went to go make a 3 point turn and i couldn't go in reverse...so i played with it some and only was able to get it to go in to reverse sometimes but now it doesn't go all at. i brought it to a shop to have them look at it to have their sense on it since they know 800 times more than i do about trannys, but anyways he got it up in the air and he didn't take it apart but he declared that something broke off inside of it because reverse wasn't engaging at all so that eliminated that fluid was low. so now i called Shokan today and they have a tranny with 58k miles for $975. I feel like that is a great price for that. I know a guy who has a shop that said he will install it for $350. so im deciding on weather or not to just trade my car in as is or go along with the $1500 to fix the tranny. Any input on this or suggestions on which I should do.
Thanks

seems like a good price for the trans and installation. probably wont get much trying to sell it off with a busted trans. I think it is going to be cheaper for you in the long run to pony up and get it fixed.
