Angry unable to locate cruise control module 2000 1.8t

I've been digging behind the glove box for the cruise control module
in my 2000 A4 1.8t. I cannot locate the damm thing!!

I've searched the factory dvd manual and posts they all say behind
the glove box..
Only thing I found was the fog light relay..

any ideas on where to look?
thanks
Andre

If you lower the glovebox and look directly above it, there's a gray/silver box a little bigger than a pack of cigarettes, with a brown electrical harness connector on it. That's the cruise brain.

the only thing that I saw was a silver box attached to a crazy 4 bolt bracket
it had 2 separate plugs, this was the fog light relay..

I will look again...
thanks
