Just saw you have a B6 - this won't be an upgrade for you. You need to look into B6 S4 brakes as an upgrade.

So yeah all you need is a8 rotors and tt carriers. Even if you have alot of pad left, i think its always best if your replacing pads to replace rotors also and vice versa.

I actually just got back from driving in the pouring rain and the slotted and x drilled rotors with these ceramic pads help alot, like i said before in rainy weather i would press pedal and nothing would happen unless you gave it more. Now it brakes basically as if it was dry out.

Whats weird is that the only car ive had that happen to is the b5, so either our cars are just like that, or it was just a combination of horrible pads and rotors by previous owner. I had a 98 accord i flipped for more money, and it had brembo blanks and ceramic pads and i didnt experience that no grab effect in the beginning like the b5 with my old rotors and pads

(Maybe im just too used to japanese cars - infiniti, nissan, acura etc all cars owned or driven )

yeah my b6 had alright brakes but my b5 brakes are complete garbage, but almost the same as my b6, my shitty mazda protege has better brakes than my b5 its kind of ridiculous..i guess upgrading the brakes is another thing to add to this endless list of **** to do on this car.

Yea if i was you, without spending 900+ on actual BBK. Do what i did including the SS lines, later in the future im planning on getting porsche calipers but the 12.3 a8 front setup is compatible with it.
