Default UpGrading factory intercooler hoses

Just wanted to know if you all thought these were practically the same quality and are comparable to samco and forge. Thanks

I think you could spend $60 on better things.

I was looking at those a while back, but decided to hold off. From what I've read and from what I've been told by members here and on other forums, the quality is pretty comparable to the more expensive hoses and will be fine for moderate boost levels. If you're pushing upwards of 20psi or more, you shouldn't be using the SMIC anyway, so what hoses you use is irrelevant.

Thank you for the input!

My intercooler hoses are old and I don't want to send the money for a front mount, but I don't want the factory hoses cause they will collapse.

Do you have any information validating that the stock hoses have/will collapse in your situation besides marketing by a company attempting to sell you a product?

I don't personally have any knowledge or experience with collapsing hoses. I've also never heard of anyone having this problem, much less at stock/chipped boost levels. The fact that I haven't heard about it doesn't mean it doesn't occur, but its not something that is plastered all over the boards weekly.

Maybe those high-hp gurus can shed some light on this topic.

I would eventually like to replace my TIP and throttle body hose with blue silicon replacements, but I don't expect to gain anything other than the improved aesthetics.

When AudiTurbo said "I don't want the factory hoses cause they will collapse", it begs the question, have you ever had them collapse previously?

My $ is on no.
