Default Used PES Ecu help

I am looking at a used PES tuned ecu for a 2.8 30v and the ecu is from an AHA manual car and mine is an ATQ tip. would it still work as i have access to a VAG?

im also new to audi and im being told its plug an play with no security or vin issues.

I wasn't aware of PES offering any tune other than one to run their supercharger system. Clarify that with PES and the seller first.

they sell a tune for the stock engine per their site and the guy im trying to buy it from - PES is under the impression the b5 has an immobilizer which i read elsewhere to be untrue as they weren't added until the b6 platform.

There is an ECU PES tune without their charger. Never heard if its good or not, and the B5 doesnt have an immob, your correct.

Yep, completely different engine management. You could convert it to work if you're really determined though.
