So my slave just went out on me in the middle of the road the other day, and I am now going to install the upgraded metal slave from USP. Has anyone else done the install here? I am stumped on how in the hell I am going to route the metal clutch line through the firewall. Anything I may have to remove? Avoiding tearing the car apart at all costs... Hard enough to work on the car at the apartment complex.

USP Summer Sale: Metal Slave and Clutch Line Conversion $150

That's the slave I'm referring to. Great deal on it too.

TIA.

I have been running it for some time now and have sold a good amount of those kits since many of my high hp customer also end up running a Flow Control Valve like I do.

What went into my car.

Why would you need to run the SS line thru the fire wall?
I just ran mine thru the same hole the stock hard line goes thru.

Thats what I had meant, it going through the stock hole. How hard was it installing the actual slave? i'm thinking of going from the top after removing the coolant res.

I think you'd have a much better time doing it from under the car, you get a lot better access that way

So I got everything in today, but I want to make sure I installed the new slave correctly. It took alot of force, and it kept the same resistance until I bolted it in. I wrestled with it for about an hour before I got it bolted back in, it kept springing back out at me lo.

Any help is appreciated.
