Default VAG-COM Warez

I know im gonna get drilled for this request but...

does anyone know a link to a cracked version of Vag-com 409. I have a different version (9) but the software does not recognize the device or device port for some reason.

the vag-com i got was from ebay and it came with a shareware version 409 so im thinking a full version of 409 might work.

any help appreciated

The free, legal version works just fine if you spend more than $2 on a chinese interface.

I have both a real ross-tech cable I spent 300$ on and the ebay 10$ cable. My 10$ cable doesn't scan airbags for some reason. But it worked fine with 409. Which I had a *full* version for. I have the leagal copy now with my rosstech cable.

imho theres one point that seems to come through the issues with the vag com chinese devices and the apparrent hit and miss of seeming to get them to work on audi vehicles and the vag com software - googling the hardware and software issues it appears most ppl buying the devices from ebay etc are just a single car owner wanting or needing to do a plain scan not a mechanic needing the device for many repairs on many vehicles thus price is a factor that attracts people to them - example just to clear a inspection code DIY is appealing over a higher cost trip to a ...dealer.

I can tell you from experience, that is comes down to software,i had 3 versions of vag-com software installed and only 1 version worked with my 3rd party vag-com cable i purchased from china off ebay.

So there is nothing wrong with the cable itself, the software has to be compatible with said vag-com cable.

I agree with what was said about some that only need a vag-com cable/software for simple tasks, not like a shop would. Not everyone can afford a 300.00 cable, along with 99.00 dollar software for a total of 400.00 and that's not even counting the cost of the actual repair that you need to have done, once your vag-com cable diagnoses your DTC!

I say, save that 400.00 for repairs and buy a 10.00 3rd party vag-com cable off ebay and the free software,we are all effected buy a recession these days.

Have some compassion and not be so quick to juge and request someone to be banned from audiforums, you don't know why this person can't afford to buy a ross-tech cable and the 99.00 legit software.

Just because you have a job and can afford it,does'nt mean everyone esle does have a job and can afford it.

original poster, did you get squared away with software yet?
