Just like putting on a giant decal. The prep work and trimming is the hardest part. I've never wrapped a roof, but all I can say is use 3M adhessive remover to clean the paint first.

Might even want to hit it with a clay bar to be sure everything is cleaned off prior to the wrap.

And to try to be a help, I would imagine it would be much easier with two people since you're working with a pretty large surface. But it should be possible with only one person. And yes, make sure the roof is completely clean before sticking anything on it. What do you want your roof to look like?

lol

But with jobs like that, two guys is almost always better than one, unless one of them is a total dipsh*t. Also, did you think about waiting until spring/summer? I imagine the whole job would be much easier in warm air.

That finish is very similar to the look I want. I want to do a dark charcoal-ish gray in like a matte or satin finish.

It's vinyl wrap that gave that car that finish??

i was probably going to wait til summer temps... but my dad has a ten bay garage as his residence so finding a place to work on my car warm is never a problem.

That S4 in the top picture two posts up is absolutely gorgeous. I like the way the hood and roof are glossy and the rest is that velvety matte look. Anyone know who's car that is?
