It is the stock Delta radio/cassette player that came with the car. I've seen thestock Bose radio/cassettes on ebay. Will a Bose work in my car without any modifications?

You have a 96, so that's a single din, you could just buy and aftermarker HU for your car I have a 97 that I put a Pioneer Avic in, so it's all up to you. Just make sure you use a din tool to stop all the marks around your HU.

 

I was at Best Buy tonight, and they want big $'s to install an aftermarket radio. Besides the cost of the radio, they want $50 to install and another $60ish for installation parts (face plate, wire harness, etc). So if the Bose radio will work, I'll find one on here or eBay and install it myself.

 

yeah the Bose should work but make sure you get the radio code just in case.
