I have a 2001 black audi a4. When i bought it i was told that it had previously been shipped. from cali to oregon. the car now has marks on it, similar to water marks but it is only on the hood and top of the car, i took it to a professional to have it buffed and they were unable to get it off. I washed the car one time after that and half of it came on roof of the car and now has a line down the car where it came off but only one side, Im am soooo stumped along with many other ppl. anybody have any suggestions?

I'd try to clay bar it first. See if it works. If it doesn't, compound would be my next go to. Be careful with it since it eats some clear coat of the paint.
