I have the McCollich 8000K HID kit, bought new bulbs recently. Only one HID lights up and thats the passenger side. I tampered with the driver side one and i got the bulb to flicker on but it went right off. Any idea whats the problem?
I think the problem is fact that you have 8000k and 10000k bulbs.............

Have you swapped the functioning bulb and ballast (one at a time) to the other side yet? That'll narrow down the problem. Could be a fuse...that happened to me recently.
Which fuse? Headlight fuse?

Nope the 10000k are made for the McColloch kit so that cant be the problem.

Yes - each headlight has its own 10A fuse in the fusebox. Could well be that one of yours is blown.

I don't remember which fuses go to the headlights (maybe 14 and 15?)...I'll look it up in my manual tonight if you haven't figured it out before then. Don't ask Jeremy which fuse though because he'll tell you the wrong one and then you'll spend the next week driving around with the bright wiring hooked up to the lows and then you'll try to call in a favor from your lover who owns a Euro car shop, but he'll just get annoyed and then he'll dump you. Just a heads up.

Wow. This stuff is way too much info for the forum...[sm=icon_stickpoke.gif]

So back on track... he said he wiggled the bulb and it came on for a second. If it was the fuse, it most-likely wold not have come on at all. Of course it's worth checking, but I thought that was a given. Usually when HID bulbs flicker, it can indicate a ballast issue.

The headlight low beam fuses are 15 btw and in location 30 and 31 I believe it said on my fuse box.
