Friend of mine is stuck with the same issue. He has quite some work already in the interior and wheels. Car looks good.
He has a at least a manual (I have a 12v auto; lookup the wiki definition for slow, and there is a picture of my A4).
Is swapping a 1.8T a valid option? Mechanical I have not concerns, but what about ECU swap and wire harness?
Its a 1996, so what 1.8T can be swapped in from an ECU and electronic, wire harness, etc standpoint. Radio, heated seats, airbags, etc?
