I have a 1998 1.8T Q 5 Speed with an ECU box number 8D0907557N and it has a chip on it.....I have no clue what it is?

9520MGM


Any ideas hit me up I want to unlock it fully or just will send in my P box to get chipped

 

I don't see any socket or daughterboard, what makes you think it's chipped? That writing is just the part number.

 

I agree with Mad Cow, I'm not seeing any indictation it is chipped. Most of the time any chip company with label the chip with a stickers (my old one said "T.A.P. Stage 2") I'm confused why you have a N and a P ecu...your car uses one or the other, not both

 

I've had and used N, P and 558M ECUs on my AEB with no problems. I sold Decker the P box for him to send off to get chipped.

 

^Base is right...I got his P box because my car while at the SoCal show here was told could not flash it because it was super old 98.....I had an N box and I need to get a P box to get it flashed by GAIC....When I got the P box from Base I took apart my box which was an N and saw this chip.
