What did you do to your B5 today?
Thank you. I used SEM Color Coat - I bought Warm Gray and Satin Black. I used the black on the visors, oh-sh*t handles, and C-pillars. I still need to do the B-pillars. For those parts, I just removed them, cleaned them (water and soap - no cleaning or conditioning chemicals. That all has to be off or the dye won't adhere).
My interior was all black with wood trim. My trim has been three different styles - first I painted it silver, then changed to piano black, and then I decided to wrap it in black suede. I love the suede look and did the beltline trim, A-pillars, rear deck, and ebrake sleeve (which I later replaced with a leather facelift sleeve and handle). My only remaining suede work is to do the headliner and I have the suede already.
For the seats, door panel inserts, and the bottom of the steering wheel I used the Warm Gray. When I did the work, I hadn't conditioned them in several months so I just wiped them down with a warm damp microfiber, let them dry, and masked off all the areas I wanted to remain black using plastic sheeting and painters tape. I can't stress enough how important it is to mask carefully - I spent close to an hour masking each door panel. Once each part was masked, I hit them with the dye in five light coats until they were dry and even. Only need to wait 7-8 minutes between coats since the dye sets up so quickly. I let the last coat cure about 20 minutes and then carefully removed the masking and reinstalled the seats and door panels. That's all there is to it. The SEM dye was $14/can and I used 2-1/2 gray and half a can of black. I figure including masking I have $100 and 7 hours invested. Hard to complain

I made a post last summer when I did the seats called "Interior project I finished recently" or something to that effect. There are more pics of the front and rear seats in there. Tomorrow I'll upload and link a few more pics of everything that's currently done.
Here's the pics from when I did the seats.

that interior looks nice!!! I just got a 96 A4 2.8 FWD. It has horrible interior so I went to a junk yard and bought a crap load of stuff. I have removed the old torn interior and Im replacing it with some nice tan leather interior. Also steam cleaning the carpet while Im there.
Just finished doin my back brakes. Went WAY more smoothly than when I did them on my 97. I replaced all the hardware, pads, and rotors. Which means I've got a full set of hardware for the back brakes on a B5 Quattro. If anyone needs spares just lemme know, I'm gonna clean them up and keep them.
I had also planned on doing my fuel filter, but apparently I bought the wrong filter...We have fuel cooling??
Anyone care to fill me in on that? How does it work? I'm gonna have to order the right filter and do it next weekend when I do the front brakes.
Couple shots from the brake job:

Got the rotors on sale from ECS, they were like $70 with free shipping but I just checked and they're not available anymore?
Audi B5 A4 Quattro 1.8T > Braking > OEM > Rear > ES#54 Brake Rotors - Pair, Slotted 9.6 (245x10) (part Is NLA) - 8D0698601ASLT-SC
