Been at the body shop all week. new door on and dent pulled on my rear quarter panel. Still can't get my bumper aligned. Stabbed my windshield washer reservoir while trying to zip tie my bumper. No good. Paint tomorrow. Tires getting mounted tomorrow also. Hoping to have it out some time next week.

Replaced my busted windshield washer pump, works great now.
Then felt ambitious and spent 5 minutes trying to get it started so I could drive it to a restaurant to meet up with some friends. Got there fine, ate, came back out and spent 10 minutes trying to start it... no dice this time.
Called AAA, waited an hour for a tow truck and now she's back home nice and safe where she belongs. Broken and undriven. Like a good stay-at-home wife.

Swapped the stock 4bar FPR for a 3bar FPR. Disconnected the fuel rail/injectors from the intake manifold. Removed the plastic pieces the injectors seat into and cleaned them. Pulled the ECU so it can be hand-delivered to GIAC headquarters (for $100... GIAC refuses to deal directly with customers so I have to pay a shop guy to carry my ECU to them :/ ) and flashed with PC-16 for FREE (just that $100 to cover the shop's labor) tomorrow. My Genesis 315cc injectors arrive tomorrow, so those will be installed in the fuel rail and the ECU will be installed. Crossing my fingers!
Coming this weekend: Remove entire cat-back exhaust and install a Milltek 2.5" QUATTRO downpipe (that's right, I'll probably be the only FWD guy with a quattro downpipe) and drive to the exhaust shop Monday morning to have a 2.5" downpipe-back exhaust built. I'm anticipating lots of noise Monday morning, considering it will be 7am and my car will be open downpipe
.
EDIT: And yes I realize I will probably be running a bit rich with 3bar/315cc... It is temporary until I acquire an AFPR/gauge, which will probably occur when I get a 3in MAF housing and bump up the fuel pressure to deliver a proportionally higher amount of fuel (to match the lowered MAF readings from the larger housing). Can't do that with MAP-equipped 1.8T engines!

Dropped the car off Monday, had a new Rieger front bumper painted and installed, along with hood and fenders, while the car was in the body shop had the bottom of the front seat reupholstered. Replaced all the front mount IC couplers and clamps with new stuff from race parts solutions. all turned out very nice and my fiance is very happy.
btw, this bumper was pretty nice. I was not impressed with the way the foglights are supposed to mount and have no idea how the mesh/ screen is supposed to be attached. Also instructions are in Duetch. It did fit the car nicely after a little trimming around the IC tubing. As far as the foglights, I ordered some hella fogs off amazon for pretty cheap -same 55 watt but with brackets, I will just trim off the molded ones and bolt these in place.

Took it to Sears to get the tires re-balanced and rotated, and get an alignment. I've been feeling a little wobble in the steering wheel lately so I thought that might help. They balanced all four tires, but then told me they couldn't align the car because all four wheels were bent....

Taking it to Goodyear this morning for a second opinion.
