Today I removed the glove box and removed all the wood grain trim. I found out I don't have the socket needed to remove the steering wheel. Does anyone know what size it is? 22mm 23mm 24mm? I had a 21mm but it was a little too small. If someone can tell me the right size I will go get one tomorrow and rent a steering wheel puller.

What year are you? It differs.

I'm trying to remember what I used and I think it was 23mm, you don't have anything to measure it?

Not that will be accurate enough for 1 mm. I have a 97 V6 Quattro.

Finally got my catch can re-plumbed to my satisfaction (sorta.) Coupla guys have asked me to post pics of that setup as well, so here ya go:

Here's the can tucked away behind the FPR. I previously had it mounted over top of the downpipe, turns out that was a **** poor choice because all the o-rings were cooked . So I decided to move it here.

Here you can sorta see how i routed the lines. I got rid of the hard pipe that runs down along the valve cover and ran it around the front of the motor. I used 3/8" high-pressure water heater hose this time around, as opposed to the 1" heater hose I used the first time. It looked like crap that way, so we'll see how this works instead. The inlet to the catch can is just hanging out currently because I'm waiting on the valve cover breather tube from ECS. Venting the VC and crank case to the atmosphere stinks somethin fierce!

I also elected to get rid of the pancake valve this time, as it was proving to be more of a PITA than it was work. I also replaced all the plastic fittings I used the first time with brass. This is the return line coming out of the can and going back into the TIP.

The 3/8" hose looks much more at home in the engine bay than the 1" did. Hope this helps some of you guys who are on the fence about installing one of these things! Got the MBC turned way down until I get this all put back together, hope that little hose shows up soon so i can have some fun

Replaced the passenger rear caliper carrier. Been getting a rattling even over small bumps that seemed loudest at that corner, and noticed the caliper had a bit of wiggle. With the old carrier I can jiggle the guide pins around and actually get them to make a clunking sound just in my hand. Here's to hoping this solves the problem!
