The second thing was the port job was good, but there wasn't really any polish done.
Third, they decked the head when I didn't want or ask them to.
Fourth, they mistimed the cams.
Fifth, they lost some bolts and studs for my head.
I dunno, just not a great experience. They used to be such a respected shop. Let's hope it runs right.

Hopefully they didn't take too much off, it doesn't look like they did. They also didn't lube the journals, so I did that when I retimed the cams. They were off by 1 roller btw

Finally re-covered and reinstalled my center arm rest lid. Was going to do the A,B,C, and D pillars too but I decided to drink beer and watch football instead

What did you cover it with?

I put the manifolds on the head, put the belts on, pulled the fuel pump out of the tank, hooked up the oil and coolant lines, put the valve cover studs in, and a bunch of other stuff.
I started wiring the new injector harness in and hit a wall. Nothing made sense with what i saw but i'll figure it out lol.
Also noticed that my clutch pedal had no pressure and then saw that the slave or lines going to it were pouring brake fluid. I'll deal with that later tho.

Covered it with a brown cotton plaid fabric. Still not sure if I like it but its better than no lid lol. Are you running standalone? Why the need to rewire the harness?

Resistor box wiring harness to accommodate the low impedance 1000cc injectors.
