dunno how the new vmaxx's with dampening controls are but the springs would probably handle better. but not look better

Today was a good day for my B5!

Changed the transmission fluid and added the additive that ECS sells in the blue tube, installed a Stern snub mount, worked on the snub mount bracket that bolts to the engine block so that it wouldn't rattle anymore, installed a Neuspeed 29mm front sway bar, replaced the passenger side transmission mount, replaced a broken support bracket that goes between the snub mount bracket and the block near where the sway bar is, and discovered that the driver side bracket attaching the snub mount bracket to the driver side engine mount is broken.

Beat that

My B5 FINALLY got a bath yesterday! I have some goodies in the mail, hopefully they'll be finding their way into this thread soon

Overall it was pretty straight forward. I actually had to shave the ridge on the inside of it a little (this ridge seats the snub mount onto its mount) to get it to fit. It still took some effort to push on, but once it was on, I was happy . Before this I essentially had no snub mount so it was a HUGE improvement on my car.

New Pressure Plate showed up from SPEC. It was free under warranty. I was very happy with their service and prompt-ness.

I ordered some leds for my license plate lights and a euro plate.

We got ~10" of snow here last night so I got to drive the rally stage known as "going to work" this morning.
