Last night I prepped it for round one of smog testing. Removed my previous catch can setup (was highly ineffective anyways) and installed the metal tube that goes from the block breather to the PCV valve. In that process I also managed to break one of the plastic Ts that is used to allow me to run the N75 AND a MBC so I had to take the MBC completely out of the loop.

What I mean by round one: at this point I'm not sure I will pass emissions (sniffer) testing OR the visual inspection... 034 Motorsport high-flow cat, black soot on my exhaust tips (will attempt to clean before testing), FMIC, etc.

Round two will depend on round one; if round one is successful then round 2 won't exist. But if it doesn't pass then I may have to throw the stock cat back in, switch to a stock ECU/stock injectors, and/or stock SMIC. This could be fun....

 

Replaced the radiator, and installed the 034 snub the po gave me when I bought the car a while back.

 

He had the name with his previous car and got a 1.8 iirc

 

Did some Quattro-ing through the fresh snow. Loved it.

 

I have black on my exhaust too. but it's from the diesel smoke. but there aren't any pinholes in the exhaust itself, i know that is enough to fail inspection.

 

Redneck ABS fix on the cluster. Put black electrical tape on the cluster face to cover where the LED shines through the face.. so no more ABS light. inspection here i come!(and full time plates)

 

Nice abs fix i might do tht tomorrow. Put new e3 spark plugs in because i had misfire cylinder 2,4 now im going back to get it scanned to see if i need coil paks. Also put my brand new drilled/slotted rotors on this morning at 8am with 8 degree whether... Nothing stops me from working on my audi. Last month it was pouring out and i rerouted my dv to the cold side lol.took 2hrs. This week coming up putting h&r racing springs on then getting it alligned at the dealership. Also painting hood n truck lid cuz of sun fading. Spring hits im painting in s4 blue. I cant wait
