What did you do to your B5 today?
im planning on doing the "joey mod" to my headlights and i was thinking about doing this then (the leds). although i think i'd put them back on the housing instead of directly on the inside of the lens.
Think twice before going through with this, maybe even three times.
LED's don't belong on the outside of a B5, in any way, shape or form. The body style is too clean and smooth for anything distracting and "new" looking!
And I'm not a fan of black headlights is all, very few B5's can pull them off well.

Fixed a pesky valve cover leak once and for all and made a small mess with the rtv
and replaced a steering hose from the reservoir to the pump. May tinker tomorrow too cause me tooks the day off...

Spent ~12 hours this weekend on my journey toward returning my car to stock for emissions/SMOG testing purposes. It's been such a PITA. In all I've done the following:
-stock ECU
-stock injectors and FPR
-stock SMIC
-had to remove my fuel pressure gauge because in CA even this is considered a modification! So now there's a double-ended barbed fitting in its place...
-pulled wideband gauge from my steering column, and refitted an OEM primary O2 sensor
-put in stock PCV tube that gets routed along the backside of the block
-swapped in stock cat from my 034 Motorsport high-flow cat (even on stock fueling/ECU it didn't pass the sniffer test)
This last one was the worst, of course. A quick shake-down run afterwards indicated things were okay, but driving back to my apartment from my GF's house last night a noticeable vibration mainly in 1st gear became apparent, as well as loud turbo whistling... seems the turbo may have loosened up despite the fact that I didn't loosen its bolts this weekend. If that's not it then the cat-to-downpipe bolts or studs came loose which IMO is a bigger PITA (would have to raise the car to fix this...).

Heh the past few days we've had nice sunny weather, with temps reaching the low 80s. So while I had this crappy task, we had very nice weather to do it in
Although the major lack of rain this year has resulted in very little snow on the mountains. I bought a 6-pack of lift tickets to one particular ski resort, and have only used one due to crappy snow since the 1st time
