OH. I have something to contribute today, too. Last night I covered my trunk lid in Quick Roof. Was skeptical at first and didn't think I'd notice that much of a difference just by covering the lid, but damn. Trunk rattle has nearly been eliminated and bass sounds a lot cleaner. I'm going to finish inside of the trunk today and then do my doors. Anyone looking for a cheap alternative to dynamat that actually works should look into it. $16 at Home Depot.
I'm not saying this stuff is as good or better than dynamat, because I've never had any experience with that, but it does the job just fine.
Edit: Yu can chime in on the lack of trunk rattle, he was there.

even though nick only has 1 12" sub, i can say that in comparison to my old B5 with 2 12", he basically has no rattle. it'll buzz because he's not finished covering everything yet but there's no obvious obnoxious rattle.

I strongly started considering getting my car ready to sell. I talked to a person in my unit today who will be selling her '04 S4 in May/June with 50K on the clock, all scheduled maintenance done, for $10K.
Pulled the fuse for the abs. I think I need to pull out my sensors and clean them off because its kicking sometimes on dry pavement. Until I clean them though I have to see those dash lights and hear my car whine at me whenever I start it up
Last night, I went to block buster with my oldest (13 y/o) and got some movies. Behind BB is a big parking lot. The night before we got a nice freezing rain, and everything but the main roads were slick as hell.
Naturally, I had to go hit the parking lot... came in the main entrance, turned to the right, snapped back to the left and gunned it... *** end slid out predictable, and we drifted sideways from one side of the parking lot to the other. Regained control, went safely around a light pole, and went sideways again to the exit, and left.
My son (who was having a blast): "Dad, isn't this illegal."
