What did you do to your B5 today?
There is a control module on the fan itself behind the glove box. It's actually pretty easy to get the glove box out of the way, then you'll see the blower. Pull that out and you'll find the module. It's made out of metal with heat sink fins on it. That's is most likely your problem. I was determined to fix mine last summer when the AC wouldn't blow in the Texas 115 degree heat.
I saw a "build thread" (sorta) over at the 'zine this morning. Some guy sent his B7S4 Avant to DHMotorsports for a prototype STG 2 build. Modest estimates in the 550 HP range.
Put a brand new PC925 battery in hoping to fix my Tach issue of it not always working when I start the car, but that didn't fix the issue. I guess the 3 fuel pumps just draw too much power as I am cranking the starter (power drops below 11 volts). So now I am going to just put in a relay and switch on the tach power wire so I can have it off when I start the car and then power it up after. Already tested to see if that would work and it does.

I got the whole thing for $650, so I figure after I part out the rest, I can at least break even on the swap.
