Default What to do?

I finally got money for the ecu flash and I wanted to go with giac but the dealer said it will take over a week to get the right cable in for the 98. But there is more dealers near me that do the APR flash. Should I suck it up and wait for the giac or say what the hell and get APR this week. I know the common rule is giac for b5.

apr is good...i had it liked it

main difference is giac is more aggressive, but power is about the same.....

look in the classifieds and see if someone is selling their giac.... but if you "gotta have it now".... get the apr.... just make sure everything is in order

Just got the email that ECS is doing a sale on APR flashing. Worth checking it out.

I think im going with giac once they get the cable in he said an hours work, I went to a couple apr dealers and they said they had to send the ecu to apr, (I need this car for work everyday). And some places said they only chip drive by wire cars. Whats that mean?

It means they only chip 2000-2001.5 cars...

In your car (and mine), there is a cable connecting the throttle body directly to the gas pedal to control the throttle. In 2000-2001.5 cars, it is done electronically.

Go with whatever is convenient. GIAC feels more ballsy down low but sort of flatens out on top. I mean with a k03 they all sort of do that, but APR is more linear and smooth. In the end they are all about the same and you'll be thrilled with whichever one you get.

oh sorry i just saw your update... whatev.
