so i have been putting this of for a while, and would like to finally get that muffler haha. i was thinking of getting the magnaflow 14815 but found this: http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/pts/2086127625.html What do you guys think about this, the price seems right to me, plus i would get a 10% discount if i mention the add. I was kinda confused if it really is a catback system, not an axleback? can someone explain the difference

 

It's a custom-built catback system. He's fabbing the pipe from the cat to the muffler and giving you a choice of which brand/style muffler you want to use. Price is really good - I wish you had a 2.8 - I'd ask you to have him make two identical ones and ship one out here

 

i do have a 1999 2.8 quattro!
edit: i also emailed him asking if he does dual tip mufflers cuz i am not a fan of the way single tips look on our cars
