this has happened a few times already... when i shut my car off, and the TT takes over. this shows up OCCASIONALLY... but today it showd up when i was getting gas and i had to move my car. when i put it in drive i heard DUNK! and then my whole car shook. and the same when i put it back in park...

 

sounds like a TCU issuse, have the tranny computer vagcomed, even a simple handhelp scanner off ebay should tell you wahts up.

 

i have vagcom. what do i scan to scan the TCU? just the AUTO Trans button...

and i do not have a CEL

The mechanic I go to said I had this, same problem, he said it is a transmission limp mode. He reset the tcu under the passenger seat. And it went away.
