Thats perfect! Still some questions: Thats everything I need right, I just want to do the fronts right now. Should I look at slotted or just keep with the vented? And do I still need to machine the brackets to fit the control arm. (NVM, I guess thats for the rears only)

I know this thread is sort of old and you've already chosen the direction you'd like to go in, but I think this thread could be good for other 2.8 owners who are twiddling their thumbs about their car:

A new torque converter wouldn't be out of the question either. Be proud of your automatic Audi - you don't have a clutch to upgrade per se, but it doesn't mean your transmission is just some slush box that can't be improved. Show your tip some love if you've got the cash to blow.
Of course this isn't the best idea unless you've got some power provided by PES, as star already said. All the 2.8 guys should visit SCAudi.com and ALL the automatic guys should check out Level 10 at least once
