In reality we see a thread just like this come about at least once a month. Almost everyone runs a name brand synthetic with Mobil 1, Castrol, and AMSOil being the most popular. So take your pick.

including Total, which is what we use here. It is the best bang for your buck as far as Oil goes

From all the threads here I was getting a Castrol vibe so I've started with Castrol.

Not certain but I'm guessing the PO for my car was using Mobil 1.

I like Castrol, it sounds funny....
