Default What is Missing from My Bumper?

I thought that the bellypan would cover this stuff up hanging out under the car but taking a closer look at it thats not true. The white plastic container does not move at all so it leads me to believe that some part is missing. Also looking at pictures it appears that something is missing. So what is this part that is missing and where can I get it?

Here's a picture that shows what I'm talking about well, I have circled it in blue.

Thank you for the link. Now my mission is to find it cheaper! Maybe I can find someone local parting out an A4.

Seems to look like my local junkyard has a 1999 A4 with this part still on it. How is this part held on? Does it just snap on?

It is secured with a series of tabs along the edge that clip into the bumper along with a screw on each corner.

My dad's valence was ripped to **** so I pulled one from the yard and then sprayed it flat black, paid $12 for it.

Great thanks. Just wanted to make sure I didn't need sockets or something like that.

Wow $12?! What a deal. Sure beats $100, I will most likely plasti dip mine black before I install it. I find that plasti dip looks better than spray paint.

Powered through the snow storm and made it to the junkyard and found the part I needed! In overall good shape. So scrapes on the bottom but it will clean up nicely once I paint it. $20 for it, sure beats paying $100+.
