Default what size

is the front door tweeters. I have the bose system but I am looking to change to rockford fosgate speakers. I checked crutchfield for sizes but they didn't have the exact size. Anyone know it? How hard is it to change the speakers in the doors?

Only worth it as long as you don't buy your speakers at walmart lol. I only have 2 speakers replaced but they are Polk's and wow can you tell the difference.

no kidding. I was thinking either replace the stock radio with an aftermarket head unit, or replace the bose speakers. What you guys think? I really want an inboard dvd player/cd I saw one for around 500.

In my honest opinion, the Bose speakers set up is decent. There could be more bass but all you need to do is add an aftermarket, bigger or better subwoofer with aftermarket amp to go along with that.

In which I have to say, a new headunit probably is gonna be a better investment for you.

Which one are you going for?

not sure I have around 250 to spend so I am gonna hit up the best buy tomorrow and see what is the best option. Thank god I can finally get rid of that hassel of the 10 cd disc changer. But I think after the head unit I definitely have to get those fosgate type r, I heard those are beastly. I will let you know what I decide tomorrow.

Are you using the factory head unit or an aftermarket?

At lower volumes, the Bose system has plenty (sometimes too much) bass...how do the Polk's perform? Do you have a separate sub?

I have the factory radio with no sub just the bose sytem. Today, I went out and bought a head unit. I got a Pioneer DEH-P5000UB. See how well the bose speakers perfrom with that. After that I decided I am gonna go with Alpine Type R speakers
