If you're Quattro, it's also a good time to change the rear diff oil (75w90 gear oil.)

Here's a DIY: http://forums.audiworld.com/showthread.php?t=2797649

Have you changed the air filters? Done a basic tune up?

You need to add your location up top and a sig with your car's info - we'll be able to help a lot more that way.

seafoam and STP redline to clean out gunk/sludge/rust/ ect

I noticed more response from a 0w40 oil, but got a little more valve tick with it.
