yeah im pretty sure thats what i want to do... either that or keep saving and get some coilovers. does anyone know how the tune of the apr chip compares to the giac tune? i can still get the fully loaded apr chip from someone i know, but still want to get the better tune either way.

Assuming all your maintenance is up to date, why not chip it through SpeedTuning for less than $200, get the upgraded DV to go along with it, and have enough left over for a set of HIDs and a set of good brake pads (Hawk ceramics maybe)? With $600 to play with, you could cover all of those and still have some cash left.

is the speed tuning chip any good though? ive read a lot about people not having them work correctly. and most of my maint has been done. just changed the oil/filter, plugs, and waiting on the coolant to get here from ecs. and i have stock hids so i dont feel like i need to upgrade those as of now.

For under 200 for that chip I might question it's performance. I'm looking fir a good chip as well and dint know what to go with. Lookin for the best.

i have been running ST chip for 1 year now... i have had 0 problems to date and absolutely love the added power! great chip for the money!

i have a friend with GIAC chip and he and i are neck and neck every pull we do. sometimes i win sometimes he wins, its all a matter of shifting is all!

anyone who says theirs did not work has other issues with their vac or pressure hoses... its not a bad tune, he could not legally sell a bad tune... why would he change the tune between when i got mine (which is great!) and now...

its like buying 'great value' milk from wal mart for $1 cheaper a gallon than the 'kemps select' sold at the local piggly wigglys or something... once you take the label off you will not know the difference!

(i feel like i have said this many times and people still bad talk it!)
