What Transmission fluid do you recommend?

Default What Transmission fluid do you recommend?

Im going to change out my transmission fluid soon so i was wondering since i love my car and want whats best for it, what transmission fluid do fellow audi owners recommend?

wow hahaha you actually know what sequim is! thats awesome!

But anyways to answer ur question, Im not too sure but I think when I changed mine I used Royal Purple 75w90 gear oil. I would also recommend Red Line tho. and you'll need a BIG allen, 17mm iirc.

Redline MT or Motul 300. These are the only 2 I use in my transmissions.

If this trans have fill and drain plugs remove the fill plug first before removing the drain plug. Nothing worse than draining a trans and finding out that you can't remove the fill plug.

Even if you cant get the fill plug off you can still fill it thru a plug on the top of the transmission.
