Default What is the trick for loosening the top nut on driver side motor mount?

I have a 2.8 AHA and can't quite get the top nut on the driver's side motor mount to loosen up.

There is an oil or power steering line right there, so I can't get a decent size wrench on the nut (only a stubby).

Is it possible to remove the heat shields and get at it from above? The DIY's say it's a straight shot from above, but I can't see how (it's likely the DIY's are for 1.8).

Maybe a flexible stubby ratcheting 13mm will work. Harbor Freight didn't have them in stock today so I'll try Sears.

I used a stubby wrench I'm pretty sure, had a hell of a time breaking the bolt loose but when I did it was easy. Either that or I used a regular wrench to break it loose and a stubby to loosen it because I had a couple degrees of movement with the regular wrench. I also unbolted the swaybar and lower brackets, without that it would've been impossible to reach.

That's what I did. But I think I just got it with a 13mm socket on a 1/4 drive. Anything bigger and there's no way you'll get it in there.

Thanks -- I'll give it another shot this weekend.
