well im a mobil 1 user but if i was a hippy id probably use G-oil, its apparently organic (made from animal fats) and biodegradable.

Depends on where you live. If you're in a relatively cold climate, the 10w could be too thick to allow the engine to start easily and or run smoothly until it gets up to operating temps. I'm sure Midniteoyl will chime in on this and correct my statement for better truth, but to the best of my knowledge, I haven't heard of too many people on here ever running 10w, regardless of where they live.

Whats funny is Shopkey and my Manual recommends for my car ('96 2.8L 12v) 10w to 20w-50 if temps are 0f to over 65f. -10f to 60f is 10w-40.

So, 50 weight oil is whats actually recommended for a V6 12v...

my mechanic recommended castrol edge to me before it was even released so thats what ive been using.. first time i had to change the oil it was darker then usual but the time after that it was back to normal so im guessing it cleaned out some gunk... fine by me!
