whats a good way to spend 4k

Ok well I have a 96 2.8 12v.... I have 4000 coming in a few days.... I already have hid lights and timing belt and water pump and oil pump and egr valve taken care of
I'm gonna be buying some rims and tires for 250, vmax coilovers for like 700 including shipping I think and 150 to install and set the height.... I'm onna get the car painted either imola yellow or nagaro blue which is 350 a gallon so I'm guessing I only need one gallon since it is a smaller car, and I'm getting the paint done for free.... So that's about 1500 spent... What should I do with the other 2500? I'm not a fan of body kits so other than that what would u guys suggest? Any and all advice welcome

But seriously, how are you getting rims and tires for 250? Rims are gonna cost me 400-600 for knockoffs and another 300-400 for tires.
just curious... why do u think i should just sell the car? couple people have said it now... and i only have 4k im saving bout 1500 of the 5.5k for my daughter and emergency expenses
and i decided yesterday that im going to audi spending the 100 dollars and have them go through the entire car and check everything out... im gonna fix everything i can on the car... up to about a grand.. that should cover most everything since the BIG stuff like TB is already done

I had 97 B5 A4 12v and i love it and put money into it here and there and at the end its still slow... It looked nice but slow
I sold it and got 4500 for it took a 5000 loan and bough a 2000 S4 with 84k miles on it. I have to say IM IN LOVE. Its fast, its beautiful, there isnt many s4 on the road around here, Its everything B5 has to offer just much faster with many possibilities!!!

yea but remember this is the same car im using to transport my 6 month old daughter in... i dont need a race car lol... but trust me had i not had a daughter i would be going that route definately... ive always wanted an s4... but its ok.. id rather be slow and safe than fast and stupid... (not saying you are stupid.. i jsut know myself with faster cars lol) which is another reason i sold the 240 with sr20 swap... got too stupid and i needed to grow up

Sounds like me with my 300ZX. I'm pretty sane on the road but that 515hp devil under my right foot was very persuasive at times. With two toddlers, it was dumb to keep it - I'd hardly ever drive it. Hence my A4. Another speed project will come eventually but for now my need for a road-going ballistic missile is a thing of the past.
its a lot harder than people think... i use to amatuer race up in tennessee and my track car was also my DD and it sucked... it got totaled and i broke my c3 and c4 vertabrae... bout a year later.. i got a 240 lol 430rwhp later i decided i needed to stop, so now i have my SLOW yet comfortable audi... and comfort is more important than risking injury to anyone else... still fun times none the less lol

phil keep it, its a good car reliable, and like you said your pretty much going for looks not for speed. and the 12v was made for that. just go for a nice set of big brakes a8 rotors and Porsche calipers. drop it nice and low, get a skid plate, throw the wheels on. nice coat of paint. a few extras here and there, and you will have yourself a real head turner
