What's the top bulb in right rear 2001 quattro 1.8T sports package. Mine's missing. Thanks. Love the car. Thanks much.

 

I could be wrong but i think its a rear fog used for rally cars. with all the dirt kicking up, the cars behind need to see if anyone was in front of them. if you put a bulb in the socket it will work but it wont fit in the light assembly. You'll have make the hole bigger

 

Definitely rear fog; they only come with the driver side one installed. When I upgraded to facelift tail lights on mine, the bulb fit fine without any modification.
