Default wheel berings

i have a 1997 a4 1.8t, it has about 190,000 on it and i changed the rear wheel berings at 165,000. well they are going again, is it possible that i bought faulty bearings or do they normally last only 25,000 miles???

My car has 142K mi. I've replaced 2 rear wheel bearings,
one @ 47K mi. the other @ 84K mi.
I bought my car new. You have a problem.
