Default wheel question

So i have 2000 a4 and I'm about to put on some b5 s4 Avus wheels but when i test fit the front it rubs on the control arm a bit will a 10 mm spacer make this work? I have looked through forums but everything is about being lowered, I'm just on stock sport suspension.

Very strange. The S4 and A4 suspension are nearly identical. Where is it rubbing? A couple of pictures would go a long way to helping sort this out.

What size tires are on the wheels? It is possible that the previous owner had taller or wider tires installed, which could cause rubbing issues.

Default forgot about the tire size

the tires are 235/45/17 on them and it rubs on the lower part, of the upper control arms hard to explain. (cant take a pic because im at work right now sorry guys.) i think with the 10mm spacers will take care of the extra tire width.

I think it is rubbing because your tire is wide. Put some spacers on.

I never trusted spacers anyway. Goodluck.
