Wheels and tires
Hey, guys I am looking at some wheels and tires from oewheelsllc and can someone tell me what the diference is between a 225 40 zr18 and a 235 40 zr18 is.They will be put on a 2001 a4 2.8 with sport susp. And has anyone bought wheels and tires from there and were you happy with them. Thanks

I've never heard of them before (not that it matters). 225-40ZR18 is a tire that has a tread section width of 225mm, a sidewall height (aka "aspect ratio") of 40% of that tread width, Z-speed rating, R (radial), 18" diameter wheel fitment. The differences between the two are the width of the tread (one is 225mm and one is 235mm) and the height of the sidewall - the 235-section tire will have slightly taller sidewalls, since 40% of 235mm is larger than 40% of 225mm.
For what it's worth, on an 01 A4, a 225-40-18 tire is almost perfect - the rolling diameter is very, very close to that of a stock tire, so your speedometer and odometer will be almost dead-on (they're off by a fraction of a mph at 60 on the highway). As for the wheel, an 18x8 wheel with a 5x112 bolt pattern and a +35 offset is ideal.

I have seen may reviews from people who have purchased from them. The consensus is, for the price, many buyers are pleased with them. I may consider them when I purchase my new set of wheels in the next couple of months.
