When you think your brakes suck...
...look at the rears. Took the rears apart to paint the calipers and put on new rotors and pads because the rotors looked glazed through the wheel. This was what I found...the right rear had a siezed slider and the rotor was trashed on the inside surface.

Ouch - glad you caught that and fixed it. BTW, I got your PM late this evening (just now actually) after being tied up pretty much all day around town. Thanks for the heads-up on that - I will probably try to contact him in the next couple weeks when I can start spending some bucks on the Audi again (I'd love those seats). For the moment, I have a couple big bills to pay still so I'm biding my time. On the upside, I did get my inspection taken care of today, which worried me due to the click in the CV joints and a couple latent ECU codes (no light though). Thankfully it went through fine
Thanks again for the heads-up - I'll revisit that link soon and probably head down there.

I'm heading down in the am for 2 doors and a fender. My drivers doors were "fixed" at some point and they're showing a little rust. And, my passenger side fender has a crease in it. Perfect part out for me.
somebodies parting out a car? is it like my color cuz i want a new hood and trunk door lol. manufan you should have seen my rear rotors, both inside and outside were gone. i couldn't even stop on a slope with just the ebrakes lol. good thing you didn't have any trouble getting the caliepr bracket out, mine were a huge PITA, jeremy can second that lol. also my inner pads have 0 life left lol. what did you replace them with? autozone stuff?
